"The early bird catches the worm” originated back to the 17th century.
This popular saying continues to be commonly used to this day.
There is no exact origin on, "The second Mouse gets the Cheese.
However, it is believed the second part of the saying was coined in the 1990's.
Paraphrasing the whole saying, it means the person who gets the opportunity first receives success, but once in a while it is better to ponder and learn from people’s mistakes prior to taking action.
Work in progress...
The word "CHEESE" originally may have had holes in the letters.
The Neighbor font was designed by Mark Caneso from PS Type. PS Type is the independent digital type foundry and custom lettering department of PPRWRK Studio. It is owned and operated by Mark Caneso. The headquarters is located in Charleston, SC.
It is partly used as an avenue to experiment with letter-forms of all shapes and sizes. This font is a hybrid of the Sans Font and has stylistic details of a stencil design.
This typeface, Neighbor, creates a positive and joyful expression and fun atmosphere. Neighbor is also generous with an array of weights. They range from thin to black.
There are also hints of cursive in this font design.
